Today’s announcement of $20 million in federal funding for the Cave City Area Agriculture Exposition and Conference Center is the result of leadership focused on getting things done.

As Judge/Executive, Jamie Bewley Byrd works with partners at the local, state, and federal levels to deliver real outcomes for Barren County. This investment in a new expo center will strengthen our agricultural economy, create new business and event opportunities, and drive long-term growth.

Barren County is consistently recognized as one of Kentucky’s leading agricultural counties, ranking at or near the top statewide for the number of farms and livestock production. This investment builds on that strength; supporting our farmers, attracting visitors, and positioning our community for continued success.

This is proof that progress happens when leadership stays focused on results and the work that matters for Barren County.
